Mama Rock’s Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients

3 – 28-ounce cans peeled and stewed tomatoes (can also use diced)

1 – 6-ounce can tomato paste

2 pounds ground beef

2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced

1 medium/large onion, chopped
-
½ each red, orange and yellow sweet peppers, chopped

2 zucchini, grated
-
6-7 cloves garlic, crushed and minced

4 Tablespoons Bruschetta mix or Italian Seasoning blend (oregano, basil)

Salt and pepper

Fresh basil, cut in ribbons (chiffonade)

Shaved parmesan cheese
Instructions

Brown ground beef in a pan. Add Worcestershire sauce and mix in as meat cooks. Drain fat, add meat to large pot

In a food proceessor, quick pulse-chop each can of tomatoes (should be slightly chunky), add to pot.

Add tomato paste to pot, mix in

Add mushrooms, onion, peppers, zucchini and garlic to pot. Stir.

Add Bruschetta/Italian seasoning to pot, salt and pepper to taste

Cook sauce over low to medium heat for two hours, stirring occasionally.
